Jack, Michael and Hilary in celebrity special

Jack Whitehall has joined Celebrity Gogglebox – along with dad Michael and mum Hilary.

Although the comedian has made several shows with his father, Hilary – a former actress – has only made fleeting appearances on screen, including playing a parent in his BBC Three show Bad Education.

The news follows the announcement that Inside No 9 creators Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith were also taking part in the Channel 4 show, which is in aid of Stand Up To Cancer. 

Singer Yungblud and Radio 1’s Jack Saunders are also pairing up for the show, Saunders posted on social media: ‘ It doesn’t get much more iconic than Gogglebox so this is such an honour.’

The show will also feature famous names returning from the recent Celebrity Goggbox series: Nick and Liv Grimshaw, Denise Van Outen and Eddie Boxshall, and Martin and Roman Kemp. 

The show airs on Channel 4 at 9pm tomorrow, followed by a Stand Up To Cancer special  of The Last Leg with guests  Kathy Burke and  Harry Hill, whose new show Club Nite, then premieres at 11.05pm.
