LONDON: Of course it's sold out, but Russell Howard is doing an intimate gig at the Backyard Comedy Club tonight alongside Kiri Pritchard-McLean and Steve Hall to raise funds for Help Refugees.

LONDON: American comic Josh Wolf arrives at the Soho Theatre for two nights. He has written for a number of sitcoms, but is best known stateside for his appearances on Chelsea Handler's talk show.

Wednesday July 24

SALFORD: After a commercially and critically successful run last year, Craig Cash and Phil Mealey's sitcom Early Doors returns to the Lowry for 13 final performances. Read our four-star review of the stage revival here.

LONDON: The Ealing Comedy Festival restarts a second batch of three great nights in Walpole Park. Tonight it's Cats Does Countdown's Sean Lock impressionist Alistair McGowan, top oddball Milton Jones, and the entertainingly embittered Jo Caulfield. Here are the listings.

Thursday July 25

DUBLIN: The Vodafone Comedy Carnival returns to Iveagh Gardens offering four stages of stand-up across four days, with line-ups of top comics performing club-style sets. Tonight's acts include Tommy Tiernan, Jason Byrne, David O'Doherty and Foil, Arms & Hog. Full line-ups.

NORWICH: Laugh In The Park is another tent-based comedy festival, running over four nights in Chapelfield Gardens. Opening night features the many talents of Brennan Reece, Chris Ramsey, Kiri Pritchard-McLean and Rob Deering, with the likes of Lucy Porter, John Robins, Stephen K Amos and Phill Jupitus dropping in over the rest of the weekend.

LONDON: Stand-up Under The Stars returns to the Battersea Arts Centre with al fresco LOLs from Garrett Millerick, Phil Wang, Rob Auton, Rosie Jones and Helen Bauer.

Friday July 26

LIVERPOOL: The Hot Water Comedy Club has one of the best line-ups in the country at its two venues tonight, with sarcastic Carey Marx, performance powerhouse Martin Mor, and perpetual underdog Sean McLoughlin.

Saturday July 27

LONDON: There's another of the increasingly popular all-day festivals of Edinburgh previews at The Star of Kings. Among the line-up are Sarah Kendall, Sindhu Vee, Suzi Ruffell and Tom Rosenthal.
