And Amusical is to launch as a podcast there

Katherine Ryan has been announced as the final comedy headliner for this year’s Latitude festival.

Playing on Saturday morning, she joins the previously announced  Frank Skinner, Michelle Wolf, and Jason Manford.

She said: ‘My daughter and her best friend look forward to Latitude Festival every year, and it’s the one we always make a point of spending the whole weekend enjoying. I’m thrilled to be performing in the comedy arena for Latitude 2019. The children will be mortified.’

It has also been announced that cult comedy night Amusical, in which comedians come out of their comfort zone to belt out songs, is to be launched as a podcast at Latitude.

Hosted by Kiri Pritchard-McLean and Jayde Adams the session will be part of a new Latitude stage dedicated to podcasts, entitled  The Listening Post.

Fellow comedian Cariad Lloyd headlines the bill with her Griefcast, while other offerings include Dane Baptiste Questions Everything, the funeral directors sitcom Wooden Overcoats and  Rule of Three, which is hosted by comedy writers, Joel Morris and Jason Hazeley.

Latitude takes place at Henham Park, Suffolk from July 18 to 21. Weekend and day tickets are on sale here.
