Ab Fab creator lends her voice to animated series

Jennifer Saunders joined the cast of the Thunderbirds Are Go reboot.

In the next batch of episodes she voices Helen Shelby, a no-nonsense biologist who designed the incredible Supreme Barrier Reef, a replacement for the polluted Great Barrier Reef.

It has also today been announced that Gavin & Stacey’s Larry Lamb will be joining Lock Stock And Two Smoking Barrels actor Alan Ford to voice two ‘friends’ from Parker’s criminal past.

Also joining the star-studded line-up are former Doctor Who Sylvester McCoy and W1A’s Nina Sosanya, while comedian Tom Rosenthal returns as Brandon Berrenger, a famous ‘extreme action’ vlogger.

The animated remake of Gerry and Sylvia Anderson's cult Supermarionation series of the 1960s began in 2015, and is currently in its third series of 26 episodes, released in batches of eight or nine. The next block are   due to air on ITV & CITV from next month.

Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Rasmus Hardiker, and David Menkin play the Tracy brothers,brothers, with Rosamund Pike as Lady Penelope, David Graham as Parker, Angel Coulby as Kayo and Kayvan Novak as Brains.
