New shows teased at launch event

Apple yesterday announced its new subscription TV service, and gave just a glimpse of what was on offer in a 'sizzle reel' screened at the launch.

Here's what comedy offerings were included.

Mythic Quest: Rob McElhenney stars in this new series, pictured, about the world of video game development that he co-created with his It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia collaborator Charlie Day. The cast also includes F. Murray Abraham,Imani Hakim and David Hornsby.

Little America: An anthology of stories revolving around immigrants in America.  The Big Sick's Kumail Nanjiani and Emily V. Gordon are executive producers and Lee Eisenberg of The Office is showrunner.

 Dickinson A comic 'origin story' of American poet Emily Dickinson, with Hailee Steinfeld in the title role. It also stars 30 Rock's Jane Krakowski
