Parks and Rec star to hit the UK

Parks and Recreation star Nick Offerman has announced a new stand-up show, All Rise, including four dates in the UK.

"My aim in this undertaking is to encourage my fellow homo sapiens to aim higher in life than the channels of consumerism would have us imagine

‘It’s a proper revival suggesting the existence of a higher power in the land than commerce, one that will cause you to pop, lock and rejoice! Come on down and hear the good news that will make you go jingle-jangle in your juice box

As well as playing Ron Swanson in Parks and Rec, Offerman is a regular in Fargo and has appeared in Deadwood, 24, Will & Grace, and Monk among others. 

He is playing the Glasgow O2 Academy on August 28, Leeds O2 Academy on August 28; Manchester Albert Hall on August 30 and London’s Royal Festival Hall on September 1.

Some fan tickets go on sale at 10am tomorrow, then on general release at the same time on Friday.
