Including Michael McIntyre, Sarah Millican and Jimmy Carr

Michael McIntyre, Sarah Millican and Jimmy Carr are among the first acts to be announced for this year’s Just For Laughs festival in Montreal.

McIntyre will be performing his Big World Tour at the festival, which attracts industry bigwigs from New York, Hollywood and beyond.

While Millican – who was at the festival last year, too – will be appearing at the annual Britcom showcase, hosted by Jimmy Carr. The rest of that line-up us yet to be announced.

Trevor Noah will be presenting one of the biggest shows at the festival with his  Loud and Clear Tour  taking over the 20,000-capacity Bell Centre for one night on Friday

Jim Jefferies has been announced as hosting two of the televised galas, with American-based Brit Gina Yashere is joining the line-up of The Ethnic Show r alongside Cristela Alonzo and Dave Merheje.

Just For Laughs runs from July 10 to 28, with the English-language programming concentrated in the last week.
