Bill Hick’s life is to marked at an event in London to mark 25 years since his death.

The comic’s brother Steve will join – via Skype –  a panel to discuss the comic’s legacy following a screening of the 2010 documentary American: The Bill Hicks Story.

The event also includes the directors of the film, Matt Harlock and Paul Thomas, as well as Chris Bould, who directed of Hicks’s 1993 stand-up show Revelations.

Hicks died of pancreatic cancer at the age of 32 on February 26, 1994.

The screening takes place at the Curzon Soho the evening before the anniversary,  February 25, with proceeds going to the Bill Hicks Wildlife Foundation.
