Sunday stand-up strand returns

Phil Wang is recording a new stand-up show for Radio 4.

In Wangsplaining, the  British-Malaysian comic aims to bring his outsider perspective on the increasingly binary debates dividing Britain.

Wang’s show is destined for the 7.15pm Sunday slot showcasing stand-up talents.

The new series will also feature one-offs from Sofie Hagen on body image, Olga Koch on Russia, and Jacob Hawley on Brexit as well as shows from Suzi Ruffell, Heidi Regan and Michael Legge

Wang has previously been seen on Taskmaster, Live at the Apollo, Would I Lie to You and his own 15-minute Netflix special as part of the Comedy Line-Up series.

Wangsplaining will be recorded in front of a live audience at the BBC Radio Theatre in Broadcasting House on March 8. Apply for free tickets here.
