New show from the creators of Mock The Week

The creators of Mock The Week have created a new stand-up show for ITV.

A one-off of Out There will air later this month, featuring comedians performing their routines in the real world – or at leasy unusual corners of it – rather than comedy clubs.

Tom Allen,  Milton Jones, Zoe Lyons, Ed Gamble and Kerry Godliman are among those taking part, with the latter delivering her set from inside a Victorian folly.

The format from Mock the Week and Whose Line Is It Anyway co-creator Dan Patterson follows ITV2's current venture,  The Stand Up Sketch Show, where routines are acted out in film clips.

Other scenarios in the new pilot include Tom Allen pretending to have a nervous breakdown in a school classroom and punsters Darren Walsh and Mark Simmons trading gags in a hot tub, pictured.

Also taking part are  Rhys James, Ivo Graham, London Hughes, Nathan Caton, Huge Davies, Rosie Jones, Nigel Ng, Bec Hill, Chris McCausland, Glenn Moore and Masai Graham. 

The show also features musical stings from beatbox duo A-Cloud.

Out There is produced by Patterson's company Angst Productions and directed by  Geoff Posner.
