BEAT THE BLUES: That's what the Sony Movie Channel is calling a marathon of comedy movies today, as it buys into the PR bullshit of Blue Monday tomorrow, allegedly the bleakest day of the year. It kicks off with Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor in See No Evil, Hear No Evil at 12.30pm; then Billy Crystal in City Slickers at 2.25pm; Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Rick Moranis and Sigourney Weaver in Ghostbusters 2 at 4.45pm; Will Ferrell and John C Reilly in Stepbrothers at 9pm and the parody Not Another Teen Movie at11pm.

RUSSELL HOWARD & MUM: GLOBETROTTERS The comic and his mum Ninette travel to Asia in this new series, starting by trying to squeeze the gap year they never had into one week in Thailand's rave island of Koh Phangan, drinking mystical buckets of booze, DJing at jungle parties and going full hippy at a mass love-in breathing ceremony. WE ARE KLANG: AMAZING LIVES: After 12 years in the BBC archives, this 2007 Radio 4 Extra show gets a repeat airing as Greg Davies, Steve Hall, and Marek Larwood offer their fictional biography of controversial poet Adam Croxton. Radio 4 Extra, 11.30pm.

BOB'S BURGERS The ninth series of the animated comedy starts with a musical episode with Tina sneaking into the audition of boy band Boyz 4 Now to try to find the love of her life. Comedy Central, 10pm.

ROB AND ROMESH VS: It's been almost 48 hours since Romesh Ranganathan's been on TV, so time for a new series! In this five-parter he and pal Rob Beckett meet some famous names, starting with Usain Bolt. Future episodes include model David Gandy, country star Shania Twain, and NFL team the Philadelphia Eagles. It follows a one-off when the pair met heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua in 2017.
