Playing a TV producer

Rob Delaney has been cast in a new movie about the toxic male culture at Fox News.

The Catastrophe star will play a producer in the as-yet untitled film.

John Lithgow will play network boss Roger Ailes while the cast also includes Nicole Kidman, Margot Robbie and Charlize Theron.

It is written by The Big Short’s Charles Randolph and is directed by Austin Powers and Meet the Parents helmer Jay Roach.

Earlier this year, Delaney had a breakout role in Deadpool 2 .
