Who's on the 2018 series of Live At The Apollo

New episodes have been recorded

The line-ups for the 14th series of Live At The Apollo can be revealed, after the episodes were recorded this week.

Two shows a right were filmed for broadcast on BBC Two later this year, along with a Christmas special renamed Noel At The Apollo.

And thanks to social media we now know which stand-ups were taking part. They are - in the order they were filmed, but not necessarily in the order they will be broadcast:

1: Ellie Taylor, Fin Taylor, Tez Ilyas

2: Jamali  Maddix, Sindhu Vee and  Fern Brady

3: Gina Yashere, Lost Voice Guy  and Ed Gamble

4: Phil Wang, Brennan Reece, Rachel Parris

5: Kerry Godliman, Suzi Ruffell  and Loyiso Gola

6: Dara O Briain, Felicity Ward, Mo Gilligan

Christmas special:  Sarah Millican, Gary DelaneyLaura Lexx and Ahir Shah

It is O Briain's seventh appearance on the show – more than anyone else except Jack Dee who hosted the first two seasons – and Millican's fifth. But most acts are new to the programme.

Lexx tweeted immediately after her recording: ‘Just came off stage!!! Trembling! So happy! I could do that every day for the rest of my life and it would never be less cool. Oh my dreams.’

While Lost Voice Guy Lee Ridley posted a picture of his name on the dressing room door with the words: ‘Achievement unlocked’

Taylor hosted her episode when heavily pregnant, and tweeted: ‘To anyone who doubts the employment merits and capabilities of pregnant women, just remember anything you can do, we can do gestating and in heels.’

The last series ran on BBC Two between November and  January and attracted around 800,000 viewers per episode for comedians including Sarah Pascoe, Katherine Ryan, Nish Kumar and Ed Byrne
