Look who's coming back!

First image of the League Of Gentlemen reunion

Here is the first  image from the League  Of Gentlemen revival shows coming to BBC Two this Christmas.

It was tweeted by Matt Bevan, an actor, writer and director, and shows Steve Pemberton returning as the bullying pen-obsessed restart worker Pauline Campbell-Jones.

She is pictured with  Mark Gatiss  as the  put-upon Mickey Michaels, who she married at the end of the  last series, and Reece Shearsmith as Ross Gaines, who had been investigating her cruel and unusual practises in helping get the unemployed  back to work.

Filming on three specials to mark 20 years since they won the Perrier award at the Edinburgh Fringe wrapped last week.

BBC Two  controller Patrick Holland commissioned the shows with BBC comedy chief Shane Allen, and they will be produced by BBC Studios. Original executive producer  Jon Plowman and director  Steve Bendelack are back on board, and the the producer is Adam Tandy.
