The Tony Law Tapes

This new podcasts offers a series of interviews with the world's foremost time traveller, Tony Law.

John-Luke Roberts invites the comic to share tales of his exploits in ancient Rome, with the Mongol hordes, and teaching Stalin how to play badminton in the improvised show, recorded in front of a live audience. It's perfect for fans of history who want more talk of testicles and nipples than you'd find in your average David Starkey documentary.

It's produced by former BBC radio comedy producer Ed Morrish, and two new episodes will be recorded at the Edinburgh Fringe, at Bob's Blundabus at 00:30 late at night on August 10 and 25.

How To Survive The Apocalypse

John Robins becomes the latest comedian to join The Last Leg's Correspondents team, offering his advice on How To Survive The Apocalypse. Imagine Protect and Survive as narrated by Richard Madeley. And as part of the assignment, he met up with a 'prepper' who dedicates his spare time surviving doomsday, and visited the North Korean embassy, a suburban house in West London.

As we reported last week , Harry Enfield and newsreader Jon Snow make guest appearances in the new satirical audio sitcom about what happens after a divisive referendum in which Britain votes to bring back capital punishment.

The core team, pictured above, are Adam Drake, Charlotte Ritchie, Liam Williams and Matilda Wnek improvised the scenes to a structure laid down by Freddy Syborn (who co-wrote Bad Education with Jack Whitehall), David Isaacs and Ben Rowse,.

This 16-minute film – an official selection in the London Comedy Film Festival – pokes fun at a generation's unhealthy relationship with the internet, from social media to online gaming.
