SHOOTING has started today on the third series of Rev. Guest stars lined up for the six new episodes, due for broadcast in the spring, include Hugh Bonneville, Dexter Fletcher, Joanna Scanlan, Vicki Pepperdine and Kayvan Novak.

SKY ATLANTIC has announced that Set List, the improvised stand-up show, will finally be hitting screens next month – more than 18 months after the festival hit was recorded for TV. Robin Williams, Ross Noble, Russell Kane, Drew Carey and Frank Skinner are among those taking part in the show, having to come up with a routine on the spot to fit a list of topic they had not previously seen.

JOHN BISHOP, Tommy Tiernan and Austria's top comedian Alfred Dorfer are to headline next year's Altitude comedy festival in the Austrian Alps. The event, founded by Andrew Maxwell, takes place in Mayrhofen from March 31 to April 4 and also includes Daniel Sloss, Marcus Brigstocke, Nina Conti, Terry Alderton and many others – as well as 'an arena-filling headliner that cannot be announced yet.' RUSSELL BRAND has signed a deal with BBC Worldwide to distribute the DVD of his current tour, Messiah Complex, this Christmas. Rob Lowe, the company's director of marketing, said: 'It’s a thought-provoking and hilarious show that features Russell at the very peak of his intellectual and comedic powers.'
