Case relates to an ex-girlfriend

Justin Lee Collins has appeared in court charged with harassing an ex-girlfriend.

The 37-year-old comic was alleged to have caused Anna Larke ‘fear of violence’ when he appeared at St Albans magistrates' Court in Hertfordshire today.

The Friday Night Project host pleaded not guilty and chose to take the case to a crown court trial.

He was bailed on the condition that he would not contact Ms Larke, or three of her relatives.

A committal hearing will take place on February 17.
