Strong return for TV Burp

Harry sees off BBC dance show

Harry Hill's TV Burp made a triumphant return to ITV1 on Saturday attracting 6.6million viewers.

The show attracted 29 per cent of all viewers at 7pm, far outstripping the 4.8million who watched BBC One’s So You Think You Can Dance at the same time.

It was a double success for the comic, as You’ve Been Framed – which he narrates – also defeated the dance show.

ITV1 ran Hill’s two shows as a double bill, with the clip show picking up 5.6 million viewers from 6.30pm to 7pm, against the 4.5 million watching BBC One at the same time.
