Comics revisit teenage journals
Comedians are to read embarrassing extracts from their teenage diaries for a new Radio 4 series.Richard Herring and Russell Kane have already recorded their episode of My Teenage Diaries, and other comics liked up to take part include Jenny Éclair, Josie Long and Shappi Khorsandi.
The series, due to air in April, will be introduced by Rufus Hound and offers comedians ‘the chance to revisit their formative years by dusting off their hormone-fuelled angst-ridden diaries, and reading them out in public’.
Free tickers will be available on the door of the Drill Hall, 16 Chenies Street, London WC1E, for recordings next Tuesday, with Josie Long at 1.45pm and with with Steve Hall at 5.45pm.
