Tate mulls comedy comeback

'But not right now...'

Catherine Tate says she’s considering a comedy comeback ‘but not right now’.

The Doctor Who star says she would be willing to make another sketch show – or possibly a special featuring her foul-mouthed Nan character.

Her characters were last seen in a 2007 Christmas special in which gobby schoolgirl Lauren was killed off.

Speaking on Graham Norton's chat show, due to be screened tonight, she said: ‘It wouldn't be right now, but I wouldn't rule it out… specials or something with my old lady character Nan.’
