BBC sketch show to be remade in US
An American version of BBC sketch show Man Stroke Woman is in the pipeline, with Will & Grace star Sean Hayes lined up to appear.The actor – who played preening Jack in the hit sitcom - is executive producing the pilot through his company, Hazy Mills.
Cable station FX is interested in the show, and creator Ash Atalla, who also produced The Office, is confident of a series.
‘We are making a short pilot to try out some of the sketches,’he told industry newspaper Broadcast.‘I think the comedy will travel well as the comedy is not particularly Brit-specific.'
