We have three copies to give away

A box set of eight classic Peter Sellers performances was released on Blu-ray yesterday – and we have three copies to five away.

The Peter Sellers Collection includes 4K restorations of:

• Alexander Mackendrick’s celebrated black comedy crime caper The Ladykillers (1955), also starring Alec Guinness, about a  group of bank robbers who struggle to silence the eccentric old lady who discovers their crime;
• Basil Dearden’s charming cinema-set comedy The Smallest Show on Earth (1957), whose restored copy is exclusive to this collection and which also stars Virginia McKenna, Bill Travers and Margaret Rutherford;
• Witty political farce Carlton-Browne Of The F.O. (1959) starring Terry-Thomas and directed by Roy Boulting and Jeffrey Dell, about a long-forgotten British colony suddenly becoming geopolitically hot property due to its rare mineral deposits;
• Boulting’s social satire I’m All Right Jack (1959) in which Sellers plays a socialist factory worker taking advantage of a strike;
• Robert Day’s inventive comedy heist Two-Way Stretch (1960) in which Sellers plays a convict enjoying a cushy life behind bars –but plans to breakout for a diamond robbery before returning undetected;
  
• Sidney Gilliat’s romantic satire Only Two Can Play (1962), adapted from Kingsley Amis’ celebrated novel, in which Sellers plays a Welsh librarian offered an escape from his mundane life and henpecked-husband routine when councillor's wife Liz takes a shine to him;
• Crime spoof The Wrong Arm of the Law (1963), written by Steptoe & Son creators Ray Galton & Alan Simpson with John Antrobus, directed by Cliff Owen and co-starring Lionel Jeffries, Bernard Cribbins and Nanette Newman;
• Heavens Above (1963), a moral comedy from the Boulting Brothers in which Sellers plays an idealistic vicar appointed to the parish of an upper-class village by mistake.

The Peter Sellers Collection has been released by StudioCanal under its prestigious Vintage Classics label and is available from Amazon, priced £54.99.
