The Queen* dishes the dirt on Donald Trump

*aka Elizabeth Hurley in The Royals

Fake news meets fake royalty in a new teaser clip for The Royals.

Elizabeth Hurley plays Queen Helena in the E! series which returns to US screens next month.

And to mark Presidents' Day, an American public holiday on Monday, she has donned the tiara to mock Donald Trump.

In the clip, she allegedly wants to dispel rumours that he thought Mexico paid for Stonehenge, threw a temper tantrum when he found the Queen's head was on money, or that he wanted to know about the English Channel's ratings.

'I would hate for anyone to think that any of these are true,' she says with a wink. 'So please, don't share these stories with everyone you know. After all, that's how rumours get started.'

Season four of The Royals airs in the US on Sunday, March 11 on E! – however the UK version of the broadcaster drop the show after season two.
