'There are no good pick-up lines in a concentration camp'

Larry David on Saturday Night Live

Larry David joked about chatting up women in concentration camps when he hosted Saturday Night Live last night.

He said that if he was in a death camp, he'd still checking out potetial – then complained there were very few suitable pick-up lines for that situation.

It was part of contentious opening monologue in which the Curb Your Enthusiasm star also addressed the current spate of sexual predators being exposed.

'I couldn't help but notice a very disturbing pattern emerging, that many of the predators – not all, but many of them – are Jews.'

'I don't like it when Jews are in the headlines for notorious reasons,' he said, adding: 'I know I consistently strive to be a good Jewish representative.'

Less controversially he compared himself to Quasimodo in being single but very picky, despite having little to offer a partner
