'I don't need you white people any more'

Des Bishop on performing stand-up in Chinese

Des Bishop spoke about performing comedy in Chinese when he spoke at the Sydney Comedy Festival.

Clips from the festival’s opening Cracker Night have been posted online, including the full set from the New York-born, Irish-raised comic.

He speaks about how he was ‘the only white guy in the village’ when he lived in China, working in a restaurant to learn the language enough to perform comedy.

And in an abrupt change of tone, he spend the second part of the set speaking about ‘period sex’.
