Star Trek-style comedy launches in September

A new trailer has been released for Seth MacFarlane's Star Trek-style comedy The Orville

Fox Television released the footage at the San Diego Comic-Con yesterday, ahead of its launch in the US on September 10.

However, the clip shows less detail than three-minute teaser released in May, which has amassed 2.9million views:

Family Guy creator MacFarlane plays hapless Captain Ed Mercer, commanding the USS Orville on the frontiers of space.
