C4 releases trailer for series 2

Theresa May and Donald Trump are to appear in the new series of The Windsors.

Channel 4 has released a trailer for the second series, which kicks off next Wednesday (July 5), showing the two characters for the first time.

Giliian Bevan plays the Prime Minister with US actor Corey Johnson – who played Henry van Statten in Doctor Who – as the US president.

The trailer also reveals how close the writers get to reality... with the fictional Prince Harry (Richard Goulding) saying that he picked up Royal Family history from watching The Crown on Netflix. And earlier this week it was revealed that Harry was actually a fan of the lavish drama

All the rest of the cast return, including Harry Enfield as Prince Charles, Haydn Gwynne as Camilla, Hugh Skinner as Wills, Louise Ford as Kate and Morgana Robinson as Pippa.
