2004: Lloyd Langford
Lloyd is now a circuit favourite,and a regular writer for both Radio 4's The Now Show and the Rhod Gilbert Show on BBC Radio Wales. He was part of the prestigious Comedy Zone showcase at the 2006 Edinburgh Fringe.
2005: Nathan Caton
In 2007 he wrote and starred in his own TV sketch show for Paramount Comedy, and was named as a '2007 hotshot' by trade magazine Broadcast. He has also appeared on Richard Hammond's 5 O'Clock Show on ITV1, Little Miss Joycelyn on BBC Three and
Comedy Cuts on ITV2.
2006: Donnchadh O’Conaill
Still at Durham University, Donnchadh continues to make occasional appearances on the UK and Irish comedy circuits, and last year was one half of the Edinburg Fringe show The Very Near Future.
2007: Tom Deacon
In the few short months since winning last year's competition, Tom has been snapped up by the Avalon agency, and is now a regular paid act on the circuit. You might have seen him passing comment on The Most Annoying People Of 2007 on BBC Three this Christmas.
