Channel: BBC Two
Episodes: Six
Comic actor Peter Serafinowicz fronts his own off-the-wall sketch show on BBC Two, which was commissioned after a spoof celebrity news clip based around the Oscars proved a hit on YouTube.
The show – which Peter wrote with his brother James – features impressions of the likes Al Pacino and Simon Cowell alongside his own quirky creations.
His characters include Michael-6, a robot chat show host in the vein of Jeremy Kyle, cheesy US TV presenter Kennedy St King and Brian Butterfield, the bumbling businessman. TV spoofs are a particular theme, with futile game shows such as Heads Or Tails? and Which Hand Is It In?, and bogus ‘celebrity’ interviews on O! News.
