Really..this has to be the most disappointing show I've seen at the fringe this year. The sketches are frustratingly basic and lack intelligence, with zero surprise element whatsoever. Most other sketch groups around seem to be perfecting a scholarly understanding of voice and style. But this was a bland journey for the most part, with no particular goal and recycled jokes aplenty. For example the recurring sketch in which one man struggles to decode what his wife is saying - come on! It's just so tired. And the 'me and my shadow' gag has been done over and over again too. Most recently by Late Night Gimp Fight. Do these guys watch anyone else's comedy? I don't think they do. Why there's been such a hoo-ha about this group, I'll never know. It stinks of 9pm after Des O' Connor, circa '96.
