DescriptionPrepare to laugh and cry at the comedy musical of this summer in a tongue-in-cheek look at what really happened the few days before an election that capitivated a planet. Original, unique and a hilarious one-off.

This show left me lukewarm. Some of these actors had outstanding comic delivery, but the writing was sometimes a bit prosaic and not all the performers could sing loud enough to fill the venue. As political satire it certainly gave me a few laughs, but many of the jokes were formulaic and I'm pretty sure I caught them using a joke from the latest season of Family Guy. That said, I caught their first or second performance of the festival, so there were bound to be hitches. Murray Hunter, August 2010 |
