Lewis Schaffer: America, The Greatest Country In The World, By The Greatest American Living In Peckham

Show type: Edinburgh Fringe 2008

Starring: Lewis Schaffer

Mr. Lewis Schaffer will grace us with an evening detailing the differences and the similarities between the United Kingdom and the United States, and explains why the British should be grateful for their ‘Special Relationship’ with America, The Greatest Country in the World.

Mr. Schaffer, a long-time resident of this country - if you consider Peckham to be part of Britain - will also recount, in a most humourous fashion, some of the many adventures and odd circumstances that led him from New York, the Greatest City in the World, to a multi-occupancy council flat in Southeast London,

Additional material concerns Mr. Schaffer’s ‘special relationship’ with one British woman, whom he believes destroyed his life and is the devil; presented in a balanced and light-hearted way.
