Description

Way, way, way in the future – 2009 - morale is low, crime is high and coastal erosion has reached its peak. The forgotten town of Watford-by-sea is holding out for a hero to wash away its worries and tumble dry its tears.

Hapless Local journalist Verity Toogood – a loveable but rubbish reporter who constantly gets it wrong – is desperately searching for a ’good news’ story that will save her career and make Watford-by-sea smile again, when up drives Terry, a washing machine repair man, and…

…Bosch! Her prayers seem answered.

With manual in hand, Terry, an unlikely hero and a stickler for detail, rifles through the town’s dirty laundry, exposes mucky habits and cleanses customers souls.

I saw this show last night, in Trinity College Carmarthen. I thought it was amazing. This very clever piece of writing has outrageous, laugh out loud humour and brilliant actors. I thoroughly enjoyed. Very much recommended!
