DescriptionRose d'Or Nominee comedienne Karen Dunbar returns to the Gilded Balloon with an all new stand-up show. The TV diva in the live arena is a sight not to miss. Better felt than telt!

I'm in two minds about this. I'd seen the show on the telly and hated it but then seen KD at a charity gig and been mighty impressed. On the negative side there was too much audience warming "all the men cheer followed by all the ladies cheer" type cack and she deconstructed the song Life which was amusing but seemed like a filler section. On the positive side she had obvious empathy with the audience, had good material about her childhood and did 15 minutes extra without breaking sweat. 3 out of 5 Andy Barr, August 2007 |
