Frankly, I thought this show was appalling. Whilst, the tone of the show was meant to be humorous, it wasn't. It is not desirable to depict women with an interest in science as 'blondes'. Portraying a woman struggling to count to 46 isn't funny. Repeating the joke later is the show where the same character managed to count to 60 humoured me even less. Well-written comedy doesn't mean singing the occasional word in harmony. Drawing upon every possible stereotype of genetics, mutants, and manic scientists who will create life highlighted the lack of creative talent brought to this production. Perhaps most disappointing of all was see that the show was supported by the UK Resource Centre for Women in Science, Engineering and Technology. I can only assume that they haven't seen the show, as the only other explanation for there support of this production is to warn women against careers in the scientific sector.
