Hollywood Scotch
Funny Bones of L.A. bring you the truth about what it's like to live, love, work, and be an actor in Los Angeles.

Original Review:
The opulent venue and the scotch offered on arrival set the scene for a slick and big-budgeted production. But that's a long way from what was actually served up. The cast were by no means untalented, and showed themselves to be a collection of versatile, well-trained thesps, but the material lacked imagination; pretty much the best they could muster was to rework Monty Python's Four Yorkshiremen sketch to brag about whose career was the most unsuccessful. As a whole, this 30-minute show felt like little more than an end-of-seminar showcase thrown together by the delagates. In true Hollywood style, a triumph of image over substance, with the audience going away feeling short-changed. |
