Thank God for HBO. I don't know about their popularity in NZ, but these two are definitely in my top list of Funny Acts. Just amazing. Hope they will tour the Eastern US soon

When HBO said these guys were a New Zealand folk guitar comedy duo I almost turned the channel. (Sounds like some stuff my granny would listen to.) Glad I hung in there! They left me singing out loud! These two are freakin folk gangstas

They are breathtakingly talented and watching them is a delight beyond description. It takes great intelligence to be able to successfully pull off good comedy, and this duo has it in spades! As a tremendous fan of soul and R&B music, I was also blown away by their songwriting, playing and singing talent, as well.

When most folk parody groups are selling out to the mainstream these mother folkers are keepn it real. They prove it ain't about all the money and the hoes. Its about taking Folk Parody to the people.

Without doubt one of the top ten folk parody duos in New Zealand, maybe even in the top five now that they have crossed over in to gangsta-folk. Seeing is believing just how 'folking' good these two are.
