Tom Gleeson: Pirate Copy
Pirate Copy sees Tom present a unique blend of sketch video, stand-up comedy (including a new version he calls Rock n Roll Stand-up) and music.

Original Review:
Pirate Copy sees Tom present a unique blend of sketch video, stand-up comedy (including a new version he calls Rock n Roll Stand-up) and music ....or so his blurb claims. Gleeson has natural charm and ingratiates himself with self-deprecating material that evokes an air of sympathy. He is a confident character and he glides through the set with ease, but it was a bit disconcerting that he looked thoroughly bored when video footage was running. He certainly is a talented young performer but I couldn't help but feel I'd seen it all before. |
