Original Review:
The word 'revue' in a title is rarely an indication of good quality these days, but this pacy and enjoyable show has more than its fair share of laugh-out-loud moments.
Many the gags come from the 'fish out of water' juxtaposition of people and scenarios, such as Shakespeare in prison, a posh Jerry Springer or morris dancing to reggae music.
It was all fairly witty and well-observed, although some tried and tested jokes were a tad obvious.
Individually and collectively, the talented group certainly performed well, too, keeping the pace cracking along and leaving little margin for boredom.
