At just 17, newcomer Daniel Sloss is limited for sources of material. This self-professed chav from Fife has rather too many predictable lines, such as bringing the old ‘And I was the teacher!’ reveal to a new generation, and many of his punchlines fall predictably flat.However his cheeky subversion of the simple nostalgia dredged up by some older comics, hints at more possibilities, as does his mischievous 'stuff you' message to his teachers.
He has a stage confidence beyond his years, too, and nothing seems to faze him.
