Brandi Borr – Original Review

Review by Steve Bennett

Brandi Borr makes for a good compere, her amiable banter effortlessly putting everyone in a good mood.

As an act, though her material isn't particularly memorable - plays on the word 'shag' having different meanings on each side of the Atlantic, for instance, or the fact that white men can't dance - even though her jolly manner still goes a long way.

But there are hints of something a lot more interesting emerging from her set - one gag even managing to make cancer funny - which suggests there may be more to Borr than a chirpy personality. Let's hope so.
