Pat Condell – Original Review

Note: This review is from 2000

Review by Steve Bennett

A stand-up veteran rarely seen on the circuit these days, Condell is an accomplished comic, whose seemingly gentle delivery can hide a bit of a punch. His wide-ranging observational routine contains barely a dud line, which is some achievement for 40 minutes of reasonably fast-paced stuff. This confident, and decidely athiest performer, is not afraid of the pun, but even achieves a high strike rate here. A consummate professional, as the cliche goes. "Let me tell you a little about myself. I'm a mammal."
