Scot Squad creator vows to wear England shirt in Glasgow if he sells enough Fringe tickets

comedyThe creator of Scot Squad has vowed to wear an England shirt in Glasgow every day of the World Cup – if he sells enough tickets to his Edinburgh Fringe show this week.

Joe Hullait is performing for 12 nights at Edinburgh's New Town Theatre, alongside Ewan Denny, a TV editor who works on Susan Calman’s Armchair Detectives and Sandi Toksvig’s Fifteen To One.

And today he took to Twitter to make his possibly rash promise to wear the colours of the Auld Enemy if they sold 100 tickets by the end of the week. .

Their Fringe show, entitled Terrestrial Is the Bestrial, promises to spill secrets of the TV industry and brainstorm new ideas in front of a live audience. Tickets are available here.

Hulait also narrates Scot Squad, and with Denny have made a number of online videos for BBC Scotland’s Short Stuff strand under their double-act name Link and Lorne.
