Singer appears to confirm reports

Comedian Pete Davidson has reportedly got engaged to pop star Ariana Grande.

The pair are thought to have first met in  2016 when she hosted an episode of Saturday Night Live, where Davidson is a cast member.

But in the past month their romance has grown, posting plenty of loving messages online. 

And the confirmation of the engagement, long rumoured by her fans, called Arianators, came in a tweet.

Responding to a fan who posted: I hope he knows he is marrying us as well,’ the 24-year-old pop star tweeted: "HAHAHAHAHAHAHA HE'S BEEN BRIEFED.’

It came after a source told People magazine: ‘It’s a recent engagement. They’re just two people who found love quickly and make each other happy all the time. They both started talking about it this past weekend. It’s nothing they’ve been hiding.’

Davidson, also 24, recently got Grande’s initials tattooed on  his finger; and her familiar bunny ears logo on back of his neck. 

Davidson has also appeared on Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and had a cameo in the Amy Schumer movie Trainwreck.
