Still Game duo now on beer cans

What would they say at The Clansman? Still Game’s Jack and Victor have been immortalised as ‘Lager Lovelies’.

Tennent’s lager have launched a gift pack containing two cans of the beer, one each featuring Jack and Victor, and an engraved glass. 

The £10 pack is a throwback to the  glamour girls the brewery used to print on its cans.

Alan McGarrie, head of UK brand marketing at Tennent’s, said: ‘While we’ve no plans to bring back the Lager Lovelies in their original form, this was an opportunity to see Scotland’s two favourite pensioners in a situation nobody could have imagined – so it was too good to pass up.’

Sold as a Christmas gift idea by Flavourly, it is being marketed as a ‘two pints prick’ pack, utilising a line from the show that  became something of a catchphrase among fans.
