Greg Davies gets some unsolicited advice

comedyGreg Davies has been reprimanded for running in public.

The 6ft 8in comic was jogging in his local park, when the owner of a cafe there – perhaps fearing for his customers’ sensibilities – suggested he should stop.

Davies reveals his efforts to get fit when he appears on the Graham Norton Show tonight.

He said: ‘I did the "couch to 5k" thing and was running in my local park when the owner of the cafe there came up to me and said, "We've been talking and we don’t think you should run!"

‘On the same day a woman sitting by the cash point and not looking too well asked me how old I was.  When I told her she said, "You look much older!"’

Davies, who is 49, also revealed that the next series of Man Down will be ‘the most ridiculous and most offensive series so far.’

The Graham Norton Show airs on BBC One after the Ten O’Clock news tonight,
