Memorial service set for next month

Friends and family of comedy actor Alex Beckett are to pay tribute at a memorial service next month.

The W1A actor, about to be seen in the new Channel 4 sitcom Stath Lets Flats, died suddenly in April at the age of 35.

His memorial will take place in St Paul's Church in Covent Garden, also known as the actors’ church at 3pm on July 6.

At the time of his death, W1A co-star Jessica Hynes paid  tribute to a ‘a wonderful, clever, kind, brilliant person’.
