It's named best comedy show to play Glasgow's Hydro last year

Still Game Live was the best comedy show staged at Glasgow’s SSE Hydro last year, according to a poll of customers.

Although it only managed ninth place overall behind the very varied likes of Donny Osmond, ICW wrestling and Colours Classical – an orchestra playing old-school dance music hits.

But the bests show – as chosen by more than 40 per cent of the public vote – was a man not normally associated with entertaining banter: Andy Murray Live. It’s the second year running the tennis ace took the title.

The only other comedy act in the top ten was American  improv outfit, Impractical Jokers (even if our review of the tour in London was at best lukewarm).

None of the other comedy acts that plated the venue last year – including  Micky Flanagan, Russell Howard and Good Mourning Mrs Brown – made the cut.

Kevin Bridges, Kevin Hart, Michael McIntyre and  Flight Of The Conchords are among the comedy acts set to perform there in 2018.
