Awards for John Oliver and Black Mirror

John Oliver and Black Mirror were among the winners of the Producers Guild Of America awards last night.

Oliver’s HBO show Last Week Tonight scooped the award for live or talk television; while Charlie Brooker and his colleague Annabel Jones won the award for best producers of long-form television.

Amazon Prime Show The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel took the prize for episodic TV comedy for its producers.

And Carpool Karaoke, the segment of James Corden’s talk show that has a viral life of its own, won the accolade for best short-form programme.
