Miranda Sings series 'not renewed

Netflix has dropped Haters Back Off, its comedy series from YouTube star Miranda Sings.

The creation of Colleen Ballinger, the irritatingly self-confident wannabe star made two series for the on-demand service. However, a third will not be forthcoming.

Netflix does not release viewing figures for its programmes. But according to Hollywood website Deadline, which broke the news, Haters Back Off, got off a solid start but ‘in the long run, Ballinger’s huge YouTube following did not quite translate into streaming audience’.
